What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Related technologies such as browser local storage work in a similar way. This page explains what we use and why. Our Privacy Policy covers personal information more generally.
What we use
Essential
- Shopping cart — the items in your cart and your chosen language are kept in your browser’s local storage until you check out.
- Login session — when you sign in to your account, a session cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms against forgery.
- Your cookie choice — we remember whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies.
Set by services we use
- Paddle — during checkout, to complete your purchase securely.
- Google reCAPTCHA — on forms, to tell people from automated abuse. Google may set cookies and collect device information for this purpose.
- YouTube — pages with an embedded preview video may set YouTube cookies when the video is played.
- Flowplayer — plays licensed videos in your account and stores your playback position.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use advertising cookies. [We do not currently use analytics cookies — confirm, or name the analytics tool if one is added]
Your choices
The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this website, after which the banner appears again. Essential cookies cannot be switched off because the cart, login and checkout would not work without them. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
